Medium Faded Clipper Cut

THE CUT

Looking for a great basic cut? The medium faded clipper cut might be perfect for you. It’s essentially a more-detailed example of the traditional just-a-little-off-the-top.

First the sides and back are clipper cut with a #5, and then taper faded down to a #3. This gives the cut a great polished look. Then, the top is cut into short layers, leaving about an inch-and-a-half of length, and combined with the sides and back. It all comes together in a way that will have you walk out looking sharp.

THE STYLING

Keep your medium faded clipper in check with a defining product, like Paul Mitchell Dry Wax. It’ll add control and a bit of texture.
