MLB Partnership Highlights

In 2018, Supercuts launched a multi-year partnership with Major League Baseball. The partnership kicked off at the NYSE ringing of the bell and the celebration of Opening Day of the MLB season. Throughout the season, Supercuts had brand ambassadors throughout the country handing out mystery gift cards and branded merchandise to generate excitement and capitalize on this partnership.

To further highlight our partnership, Supercuts launched Baseball Bucket List contests throughout the season where winners won bucket list experiences. Some of the prizes included a trip to All-Star Week, tickets to MLB games, and opportunities to meet baseball players such as Nick Swisher.   

At All-Star week, Supercuts had a strong brand presence by having in game signage and hosting batting practice as well as a home run booth where fans were encouraged to get #ReadytoGo.

The season wrapped up with the launch of a new Supercuts’ marketing campaign featuring MLB superstars, Justin Verlander and Didi Gregorius. The commercial spots highlighted the rituals they perform that get them ‘Ready to Go’ alongside our Supercuts stylists with our rituals that help get customers Ready to Go.
